Just use an ATM once you get to Europe. Any other way is a waste of money.

You don't get a good rate buying them from a currency exchange before you come either. The best bet if you want to have euros before leaving on your trip is to go to a main branch of the bank where you hold an account.

You can use your ATM to withdraw money in euro directly when you're here. That will be the best rate. However, you should alert your bank that you'll be using the card in Europe. You'll also have the same withdrawal limits imposed by your local bank.

You did not state which country you resixe kn or what currency you are using to purchase the Euros. The best methods would be

Purchasing from your bank or purchasing from a Bureau de Change in the airport. You may buy in your own country before you leave or you may buy in the destination country. Depending on your credit card and the country of origin and the country you are going to, you may also use your credit card for a cash advance for a very small fee.

You may also purchase travellers cheques if your country is short kn foreign exchange. Whatever you do, try go have at least euros 50 to travel with or US dollars which is accepted internationally. British pounds will also be acceptable.

If you're a member of AAA, many offices offer currency conversion. They only need a few business days notice and the exchange is at the going conversion rate with no premium for the service.

I don't get it. You land at airport, find an ATM, put in card and get euros. Why make it any more hassle.
