which country is the best for holiday Turkey or Greece?

My cousin would like to have a holiday either in Turkey or Greece. She is not sure which country is the best for a 1 week holiday. Turkey or Greece? And she also wonders which is cheaper? thanks

I've been to Greece five or six times on holiday (mainland and islands) and Turkey once.



I must admit that Turkey whas much more fun. Some places are touristy but the food was absolutely excellent and at a very reasonable price. The turks seem a little more friendly as well, although expect to be pestered a bit for things?



Turkey will give you more bang for your buck!

First of all, I want to point out that I am a Cypriot. For me both Greece and Turkey are both great neighbours but I really have no preference to either.



But if you're asking me my opinion based on cost, I would go for Turkey. Greece is cheap to get too (like Turkey) but once you get there the prices are much higher than in Turkey. Its GDP is not much lower than many Western states. If you want cheap, if thats the question, then Turkey is your best bet.
