Any suggestions on what countries to travel in Europe with a 1 year old?

If you're travelling in summer, you want to go to the Mediterranean, with all the sun and sea. Three suggested (and perhaps still relatively inexpensive) countries would be Croatia, Greece (the islands such as Corfu) and Malta.
